CaringBridge was so helpful during Tim's illness that I'm setting this one up for my upcoming surgery to streamline communications for my family. On Wednesday, March 24, I am scheduled for surgery on my neck with neurosurgeon, David Malone.  He will be clearing a lot of arthritis in my spine, making room in the spinal canal for the spinal cord that is compressed and fusing three sets of vertebrae.  This has been an ongoing challenge for several years and it has finally become the time.  I am praying for total healing of my neck, spinal column, and reduced pain. 

My daughter Jordan will be with me during surgery. My friend Sharon Caskey will be "my person" during recovery at home. My other children are also onboard for help.  

I'm NOT setting up a Meal Train at this point as I understand that swallowing will be the biggest challenge.  Lots of protein shakes on hand.
