This past May, Pat was given the unfortunate news that she has bladder cancer. After weeks of tests, it was discovered that the cancer had not spread, which was great news. Currently, the plan is 12 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by bladder removal. This is our family's way of keeping those close to her informed of Pat's progress. Typically, she receives chemo once a week for two weeks and then a week off.
The writer of this page is her sister Carol (a journalist by no means)who will try to update her journey the best I can. I encourage you to read Pat's story and send messages of strength and encouragement throughout her ordeal. Pat has a network of truly amazing friends and relatives.
