Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement for Parker and his family. Parker's story begins on Wednesday of last week when his Mommy noticed a small lump on the right side of his neck and that he was running a low grade fever. He saw his pediatrician that evening and was told that he had strep throat and an enlarged lymph node. His pediatrician wanted Parker to start antibiotic and told Mommy that if he started swelling worse to come back to see his doctor. Thursday morning Parker woke up and now his left side was swollen. Parker went back to Pediatrician where they told Mommy and Daddy to take him to Emergency Department at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Many tests have been ran and finally on Sunday, Parker was transferred to Mass General to make sure he is getting as many doctors to look at him as possible.
