Beatrice Alder Our Little Bea

First post: Aug 14, 2017 Latest post: Jun 3, 2019
Welcome to our CaringBridge website for our baby girl, Beatrice Kathryn Alder...known to many already as Baby Bea :)  We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place so it's easier for all! Currently, Baby Bea is growing inside Momma Rachel's belly and getting stronger by the day. We expect her to challenge every doctor and RN that she meets and show them the true power of positivity, prayer, and love at work in  a family's life.

Baby Bea has given us many surprises in this pregnancy so far but the greatest being at our 20 week ultrasound and anatomy scan where several health concerns were revealed to us. Since then we have been meeting with doctors and nurses, learning more about Bea and her conditions, and asking for all the positivity that others can give to her. Please read Erin's first journal entry to find out exactly what's going on with Baby Bea and follow from there with updates as they come to us.

People have asked daily, many people, many times daily, "What can we do? How can we help?". Our answer will remain the same - however you connect with the good in the world, connect and think of Bea during that connection. Whether that is through prayer, positive thoughts or actions, church, hiking, tree climbing, sage burning, compliment giving, or just being still on your bus ride home - our family appreciates any connection. Please sign up to follow our site, leave comments, and participate in this journey with us. Baby Bea is a force to be reckoned with so come along for the ride! Much love and appreciation to all who stop by for a visit :)

P.S. She is due 12/6/17 but we expect her at least a week early!
