Samuel Patrick Klosowski        17yo
God’s Detour...
After noticing a right sided swollen neck on March 18th, Sam has underwent a number of tests and procedures at Froedtert / Medical College,  and a diagnoses of stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma has been confirmed.
With Hodgkins lymphoma there is a different rating system that accompanies the stage and working to our advantage within that diagnosis, Sam is considered level 1 out of 7.
Dr. Timothy Fenske at Froedtert / Medical College is Sam’s Oncologist and is considered a top specialist in the field of Lymphoma treatment. He assures us that his confidence is very high that Sam will completely recover and be Cancer free after upcoming treatment.
Also that Lymphoma is one of the most curable forms of Cancer.
Continued Grace...it is our understanding that Sam will be one of the youngest patients, at the age of 17 to be treated at froedtert/Medical College. They made an exception for him, and have been a light thus far with their outstanding care.
Sam’s Chemo treatment starts on Friday April 13th.  At this time they are not planning on radiation.  He will be finishing up additional tests on lungs and heart, and receiving  a port placement prior to next week’s initial treatment.
Sam will have 6 months of an ABVD chemo regimen every 14 days. We have been made aware of the potential for a rough road, but are optimistic that Sam’s spirit, strength of will, faith, family and friends will carry him through this time.
We have been asked to set up this site as a means for us to keep you updated on Sam and his progress. We have been advised to do so in one place as our energy will go to Sam’s recovery.
We will do our best to share all that is pertinent while reserving some privacy for Sam and our family.
Prayers, well wishes ,inspiration Or anything that will bring a smile  are greatly appreciated and welcome here.
Many of you have asked what you can do to help. We are grateful, but beyond prayers have not had an answer.
This site will allow you and us to communicate and facilitate needs and support offered as we navigate these next months.
Sam and our family greatly Appreciate the support you have shown. We pray that you remain by our family’s side these next months with your continued prayers, and Love.

~Sam, Karl, Lori, Joe, Lilei and Ryder
