Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I was born on February 16, 2017, at 5:55 pm. I weighed 1lb 15.4 oz , and measured 13.4 inches long. My first few days was very difficult and relied on a ventilator, and 2 blood transfusions. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with a grade 4 bleed in the right ventricle in my brain. Over the next couple weeks, my head grew in size due to large buildup of hydrocephalus. On March 8th, i said my good byes to the great nurses at the Good Samaritan Hospital, and was transferred to Cincinnati Children's. I received neurosurgery 2 days later, on March 10th at 12:07pm to get a reservoir placed. This allows the doctors to remove the Hydrocephalus and allow the Grade 4 bleed to become absorbed back into my body. I've been slowly recovering from the surgery, and am beginning to grow. I have been drinking mom's milk through a feeding tube, and have been getting steady streams of oxygen to help me grow. My original due date was May 22nd, and when i was born, i was only 26 weeks and 3 day old gestational.
