Nicole Kostecka

On the afternoon of Friday, January 17, 2020  Nicole was involved in a car accident near Llano, Texas  that involved an approaching vehicle.   The vehicle hydroplaned and crossed into their lane sideways and they T-boned the approaching vehicle.  Nicole was traveling with a friend and her dog Riley to Abilene to visit a friend.   Nicole was the passenger, the weather was not favorable and in a matter of seconds, lives were changed forever.
The passenger in the other vehicle did not survive and Nicole's beloved dog, Riley did not either.
Nicole's friend thankfully survived as well, he suffered a broken right leg, and many other breaks in his vertebrae, ribs and damage to his shoulder.

To respect his privacy and the privacy of his family, I will not state his name or any other details at this time.
 Just know that prayers are needed for him and his family as well.  Please pray for all parties as well.

Prayers are always welcomed, appreciated and needed.
Many other details surrounding the crash are unknown. What we do know is,  that at this pivotal moment Nicole's healing  journey begins. 







Nicole spent 36 days in Shock Trauma ICU in St. David's Hospital in South Austin, Texas.          (January 17, 2020 to February 21, 2020)
She is currently at Baylor Scott and White Continuing Care Hospital in Temple, Texas.               (February 21, 2020 to Present)
