Nia Cephas

To all friends and family, thanks for the outpouring of love, concern and prayers.

Nia and Chris were headed home after dinner when they collided head-on with a drunk driver driving on the wrong side of the road. Chris sustained glass injuries on his hand as he tried to protect Nia. It is most helpful if he doesn't have to relive the trauma they endured by answering the question, "What happened?"

Nia sustained fractures to both legs, right arm, and pelvic. However, prayers are going up all over and Nia is recovering. The legs surgeries went well. The mouth tube and the neck brace have been removed. We are now praying to be moved up in cue for the arm surgery. We request continued prayer for the next few weeks as Nia will do physical therapy and learn to walk again. We thank God for sparing Chris and Nia's life through this horrible accident.
