Feb 6th 2020, at 35 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma to be exact.
Feb 2021 update:
It has been one year since my diagnosis. I had chemo, a double mastectomy, my ovaries removed, breast reconstruction and so much more happen. I've been an open book about my experiance, as you can read in my entries below. As of now I am NED, no evidence of disease. The first year after diagnosis holds the more potential for the cancer to be diagnosed as metastatic. I have passed that mark and will continue to pray and live in a way to try to reduce my chance of stage 4.
