On August 24th, Mike was diagnosed with a grade 3 chondroblastic osteosarcoma in his jaw. In layman terms, he has a fast spreading bone cancer that will be harder to treat because it's hiding in his rare condition called fibrous dysplasia. The treatment will be chemo, tumor removal surgery in conjunction with jaw rebuilding, and followed by more chemo and radiation. The estimate of the treatment length is about nine months to a year.
