On January 3rd we got news that no family wants to hear. Mike was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Adenocarcinoma (lung cancer). While we are still in the intro phase of his treatment plan, we are all holding faith in his amazing team at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester! He has a plural-X catheter placed to help drain the fluid out of his right lung and will start chemotherapy soon accompanied with some somatic gene therapy after we receive all the test results.
