Micah was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cortical carcinoma, which is an extremely rare (1 in a million cancer diagnosis) He has gone through intensive surgery to remove a large tumor. The surgery was successful. He is being treated at St. Jude’s in Memphis. He’s currently NED and pursuing integrative medicine as his second phase of healing.
Heather and Micah have stayed in the hospital for long periods of time away from the family. Last count was over 100 days. Bobby was on an unpaid leave, but is currently expected to work from home due to covid.
Their faith and hope is an inspiration to many, and thankfully their support system is growing everyday.
Heather’s focus is on bridging the medical, nutritional, and spiritual avenues to bring hope and healing to this particular diagnosis and to pediatric oncology diagnosis of all kinds. Her ears are open to God leading her every step with a clear promise as her hope.
Heather’s raw writing is a way to unload daily. It’s healing and encouragement to her and also to all who read it. She plans to publish it in next year.
The family needs is our bold and unwaivering faith. Heather & Bobby are standing firm in 100% healing and a cancer free zone !
In Micah as it is in heaven.
Thank you for your support and standing boldly with them!
Also, please consider sowing into their journey. They’ve come so far with support and now with the second phase starting there’s more opportunity to invest in Micah’s healing and the Ternahan’s journey.
