As some of you know, after returning from Europe and a routine mammogram, we discovered invasive mammary carcinoma with lobular features had invaded my body. Unfortunately, I received the news on vacation and had to delay surgery for a variety of reasons. The date is set for August 22 @1:30. I will undergo a double mastectomy. I am using a variety of healing methods in addition to surgery. Accupuncture, nutritional supplements to put this acidic body into balance again, and diet! It seems to be the type of cancer that quickly spreads to lymph nodes. A recent thermagraphy scan may be indicative of that, but we are going to have pathology give the final say. A very different treatment course may be recommended so please pray!!!
In addition, school is beginning the week of my surgery, so that is a huge burden missing meeting my new students. Another prayer request!
