Mel Manning

Thank you for visiting.  Mel went to the urologist thinking that he had a kidney stone.  He has had some pain in his upper kidney over the past few month. CT scan showed a mass on his adrenal gland and was sent right away to MD Anderson.  That following week he had surgery to remove the 20cm mass. Surgery went well and Mel is home recovering now.  He did loose his right kidney and adrenal gland. We have a follow up (staples removed) next week. and in 6weeks he will have another scan.  Dr. is concerned about a spot on Mel's right lung, but we will see what shows up on the next scan. Right now we are focusing on healing from the surgery .  Thank you for all the prayers, keep them coming!
