The second week of this new year our dear vibrant friend, Melissa fell ill to the point of not being able to get out of bed.  After many tests and weeks of uncertainty, Melissa was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lyme and Babesia.  She has since been working with 2 different specialists to try to find a way to get her body functioning.  She is still bed ridden due to dizziness and neurological issues.  She has been staying so strong and can’t wait to be able to get out of bed soon to dance with her sweet daughter Tuesday, support Joe, and see her friends.  She is remaining hopeful, but the road ahead is filled with many more specialists and treatments.   

The goal that we are trying to reach is helping her with the early stages of her necessary treatment, but their bills will likely exceed this within the coming weeks and months while she is not able to generate income.  Any help you can give is received with so much gratitude.

Melissa is one of the most giving people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.  She’s a dear friend to so many.  I know I am not alone in wanting to support her the way that she would support others during this difficult time.  

Melissa and Joe have already been so thankful to all of the people that have stepped up to help with Tuesday and offer help with meals & they wanted to convey their appreciation for your support and for your words of hope and encouragement.
