Welcome to Megan's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Megan discovered she has melanoma, which has metastasized.  She has a very good team of oncologists who have developed an immune therapy to fight it.   She has been put in a clinical trial in which she receives immunotherapy through IV infusions.  As long as she tolerates the medications, she will continue this therapy.  Since therapy has been initiated, she has developed both hypothyroidism and diabetes type I.  She is now receiving  medication and insulin to manage these conditions.  Please visit "Ways to help" if you desire to make a meal or provide other support.
