My journey started on October 17th when I found a lump on my breast. I quickly made an appointment for my yearly well woman visit which lead to a mammogram. That's when everything got kicked into high gear.
My mammogram turned into a sonogram and then finished with a biopsy. Then the waiting game started. I received my results on Friday October 30th. While I could read the results, I knew I wouldn't talk to my doctor until Monday. Yall know me though, patience is not my thing. I had my people helping me figure out what the results were. It was not until Monday morning at 8:30am that it was confirmed. my doctor called and confirmed that cancer was found. I invite you to join me in this journey. I appreciate all the love and support that me and family has received. This will be a battle i will not face alone. I am blessed to have such amazing friends and family. Most importantly, I have my lord and savior that will guide me every day of this battle.
