Mary Ziino

In 2008 Mary Ziino was diagnosed with Stage 2 ICD Breast Cancer, our family thought she had beat it. In 2014 Mary was diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer (most aggressive form of Breast Cancer). The cancer had spread to her hips, pelvis, multiple areas of the spine, multiple ribs, skull, shoulders. In addition her right lung is filled with cancer and the left lung has chronic plural effusions, fluid build up between the lining of the lungs causing the lung to collapse and requires a needle to be placed between the lining so the fluid can be suctioned out. 
The original life expectancy was 18 - 24 months from diagnosis, we have hit the 24 month mark. Over those 24 months there have been quite a few ups and downs. Since so many family and friends are not on Facebook we wanted to create a way that Mary could provide updates and receive positive thoughts and prayers without using that social media site.  
This site is for her to use however she chooses to and for those that visit to show love and support however they choose to.
