"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present requests to God." Philippians 4:6

In early Jan while visiting the beauty shop Mary passed out a couple of times.  After an ambulance trip to Centerpointe Hospital and an overnight stay a stroke was ruled out and she got orders to see her Dr and then a Heart Specialist.  Many tests  and a Heart Catheter Procedure on Fri, Jan 26, showed that stents weren’t the answer and a Bypass is the best option and it looks like a quadruple.  The people at Centerpointe have been great and are allowing her to stay thru the weekend until the surgery which is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan 30.  With all the flu and colds and weather this is a good thing and she is very comfortable and the nurses are fantastic!

She and I have “nervous anxiousness” but at the same time very upbeat and positive about getting this fixed.  We have felt so many prayers and good wishes from so many.  Jeff, Lisa, Mark and Dana are all here and have reversed the roles and are taking care of me so we can focus on Mary and her recovery.   We really feel that she has checked all of the boxes that a human can and all that’s left is to give it all to God—and we know He’s got this!

This first week while in the hospital she has asked for no visitors as the first couple days she will be in ICU and Cardiac Care Units in recovery.  Please watch for updates on this site and we will let you know when she feels ready to see her friends.

She has been my rock and true blessing for 52 years as of Jan 23.  She and I will both love to have your prayers and will feel them from all over!

Thank you!

Rich
