Marylin Bowery

Blessings!!! We are so happy to welcome you to any and all updates as soon as they happen! Marylin was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis Obliterans  which is an inflammatory condition that affects the lung's tiniest airways, the bronchioles. In affected people, the bronchioles may become damaged and inflamed leading to extensive scarring that blocks the airways. The only treatment is a Lung Transplant. After much prayer and advisement we got her situated at UCLA in March of 2020. By the end of May she was on the transplant list and on July 2, she found out she was #2. After a stressful first run through attempt on July 12th the perfect Lung became available late on July 19th. Surgery was scheduled for 2am July 20th. Surgery went beautifully and we will be utilizing this caring bridge will keep anyone and everyone in the loop as she recovers and heals over the next days, months and years! Thank you all for being here, for loving on my mom, for covering her and our family in prayer and for so much support! We love you all!!
