Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Mary Fleschman. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place as Mary has SO MANY people who love her dearly. We appreciate your support, words of hope and encouragement and most importantly, PRAYERS. Thank you for visiting.
On Thursday, November 9th, Mary suddenly collapsed at work after expressing severe pain in her head. She was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital and then airlifted to Barnes where she was admitted to the Neurological ICU. It was determined by the Barnes Neurological & Neurosurgery Team that Mary has suffered a very severe brain injury possibly due to a hemorrhagic stroke which has caused severe bleeding on her brain. She is in a self-induced coma supported by a ventilator. As of her admittance to Barnes, her prognosis is unsure.
Mary is a woman of strong faith who believes in the power of prayer. She has and continues to make a difference in people's lives. The nurses and doctors encourage us to share fun stories and experiences with Mary to stimulate and encourage her. We want to use this site to not only share with you this journey, but we also want you to share stories with us that we can share with Mary. PLEASE SHARE YOUR MEMORIES!
We are believing God for absolute healing. We are believing God that these words of encouragement will bring comfort to Mary. We will update as often as we can on her progress. Please pray and please stand with us to bring Mary home.
