In case you missed it, I have been fighting thyroid cancer that has metastasized into my bones for several years. I've had two radio-iodine treatments: the first of which put me into remission for a few years, and the second hasn't seemed to do anything. I will be starting a new thyroid cancer trial with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC on Nov. 28th. At the end of the 5 week trial, we will find out if I can/should receive a third round of radio-iodine to kill the thyroid cancer cells. Hanna and I will be using this website to update all my friends and family about my condition and frame of mind, as well as to tell you how you can help us through this illness.
