Update (9/19/17): Thank you to all who followed Mary Anne's journey, shared messages of love and prayer. Her Savior, Jesus Christ, called her from her home, Soaring Mountain, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 to her heavenly home where she has been fully restored! Praise God. He is always good.

I have a rare form of cancer called peritoneal carcinomatosis with large ascites. I was informed of my diagnosis over Palm Sunday weekend. I had about 40 pounds of fluid in my abdomen, 10 has been removed. They will remove the fluid a bit at a time to ensure my body is responding okay.

I probably have only 6 months to live here on this earth and then I'm on to eternity in heaven. I am doing fine; please pray for my dear husband Paris and my family. The doctor said that the only chance of something different is a miracle straight from God!


Please pray that the Holy Spirit helps me to obey the will of God in the time I have left. This is my time to glorify Him. And, of course, you can pray for a miracle from God if that is His will. Please don't hesitate to ask questions as I am happy to share. I feel a little selfish because at times I get so excited about it. But then I have my sad moments when I think about Paris, my family and my host of friends.

I will see an oncologist towards the end of April and will have information posted here on this site to keep people informed. Please note and understand that I am focusing all my energy on my health as it is priority number one. As a result, most of my communication will transition from email and social media to this site. I sincerely appreciate all the love, support, and prayers that have been communicated to me, both directly and indirectly. I cannot say thank you enough and cannot efficiently respond to all of the calls, texts, emails, and posts. I trust that you will understand.
