As most of you know, this illness has already been a long journey, starting last August with back/leg/hip pain and filled with lots of attempts to figure out the real cause of all of Mom's pain.  Finally in March, during an emergency hospital stay, we received the diagnosis of multiple myeloma.  To be blunt, it totally sucks.  But, after months of not getting an answer, at least we now know what we are fighting and there is a plan to heal.  
I will be keeping the journal up to date, but Mom (and Dad) can read any comments or notes that  friends and family post.  I will also show them how to post journal entries as well.
We are truly grateful to all of you for your love, support and help throughout this time.
