(Posted by Kelly.) My dad will be having neck surgery on January 4th, 2024 to correct several major issues. Back in 2017, he had a similar surgery for stenosis of the neck. This CaringBridge site began prior to that surgery six years ago. The upcoming procedure will be to fix compression of the spinal cord and to fuse neck vertebrae. After he recovers from the January surgery, he will have another one on his lower back (later in the year).
His recovery will be extensive. My parents will need assistance with many things over these next few months. My brother Jeff and I are planning on updating this CaringBridge site as often as possible to update everyone. I will also be setting up a meal train website, if you are so inclined to bring them a meal during recovery. Any help would be greatly appreciated by my family! Thank you for your support.
