Marjorie Hirshan

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. As you probably know, Marj has had atrial fibrillation and copd for many years. Recently, she developed a leaky mitrial valve and learned she had a heart attack. All these combined with a flu and respiratory virus became just too much for even Marj's huge heart and spirit. Since the end of January, she has been in and out of the hospital, including the ICU, many times. The combination of disorders Marj faces is too much to keep putting her through the rigors of hospital admissions. She is home at Jen and Tom's house with hospice care. Marj is calm and pretty much pain free. She isn't checking email, but when she can, she does love reading the letters and cards she's gotten, so keep them coming please.
