We’ve all heard that attitude is everything. I believe that and try to live according to that saying but watching my mom since her diagnosis has set that in stone. Her attitude of hope, strength and peace knowing that our loving God is in control has helped her and her family accept her diagnosis and adopt the same attitude. Her diagnosis was devastating for all of us but six months after the death of my dad has been a real “sucker punch” in the gut.

Her treatment will last for six weeks. Two kinds of chemo on week one and four and six weeks of Monday-Friday radiation. She has the potential to get very sick.
