It was October 16, 2019 when I posted a heavy post on Facebook messenger to my go-to prayer warriors about some unexpected news about Marc's health. Since then, Marc and I have experienced an abundance of prayer, grace, support, and love. This site will help keep you all updated as Marc proceeds on with his treatments.
Brief Timeline of Story: * Friday, October 11, 2019 - new GI doctor appointment, Marc (43) shared a couple symptoms he had, doctor ordered colonoscopy * Tuesday, October 15, 2019 (only a few days later...God)- colonoscopy, doctor showed me images of what he had found, he removed four polyps and told me he found a 5cm. tumor, very confident that it was colon cancer * Tuesday, November 5, 2019 (a day before my birthday) - surgery to remove tumor mass in colon, removed 12 inches of colon, and 16 lymph-nodes - surgery was a success!!! Had a wonderful surgeon (God) ...found out 7 of the lymph-nodes were infected * Multiple appointments made for surgery results, oncologists, fertility/family planning concerns, surgery for chemo infusion port * Result after surgery: Marc could be cured, however, we agreed that 6 months (12 treatments) of chemotherapy was the best option for more insurance that any cancer left behind is destroyed * Chemo Treatment #1 started December 18th, 2019
