An update for a few and news for most: Mom found a mass in her abdomen a couple of weeks ago. There was some discomfort as well so she got her self to the doctor. Who got her an ultrasound, followed by an MRI, followed by surgery this morning. Her 'blob' (as we called it with the boys) has been removed. She has been given the preliminary diagnosis of stage II ovarian cancer. As she recovers from this surgery, she will begin chemo in EC. Mom and Dad have had a busy couple of weeks with appointments and meetings and a lot prayer and processing. We recognize God's sovereignty in all and are grateful for peace and grace through even this. This website has been set up to bridge the folks between FB and email. It's a bit easier to update this way. It's also nice to have a place to leave messages or see updates without an alert going off on the phone. We'll see how it works for us.
