On Wednesday, December 12, Louise was heading to the Zen Center when she was blinded by the sun on Irish Hill Road. She did not see a large jeep that was stopped and she crashed into it. The airbags all deployed, and the front end of the car was destroyed by the impact. Louise fractured two bones in her ankle and ligaments were torn. The airbags also caused considerable pain throughout her upper body.

Louise will be seeing a surgeon this week and will have more information soon. For now, she is resting at home and needs to remain mostly immobile.
