Short and sweet-In 1991, Lonny was involved in a rollover accident while serving our country in the U.S. Army. The outcome was a broken back at the T-8 region of his spine. Through many years his pain has been managed through good physical stamina and working hard. As the years have progressed- so has a major spinal deformity known as idiopathic scoliosis. Left untreated would be an irresponsible thing for this amazing husband and father to do...hence comes the spinal fusion .

On Thursday, October 6th, Lonny will be under the care of Dr Nathaniel Whitney, Sacred Heart- Spokane,WA., for a T-1 to pelvic fusion. We are told this is an 8-12 hour surgical procedure. We are told he will be in the hospital for 7-14 days. We are told he has the best chance of a successful recovery because he is so young, fit and great mindset! I will manage this site with updates as presented.
Please pray for all our kids that they may not fear this event. Please pray for Dr. Whitneys strength and energy for such a long surgery. Please pray that my strength, humor and humbleness can keep a good balance to be the best wife and mom that I can be.Please pray recovery will be nothing but amazing miracles.
