As most of you know, lonna went to the ER on Thursday June 1, for a headache that had already lasted 2+ days. They released her, claiming they really couldn't find anything, so she went home, but ended up back in the hospital on Friday June 2, after falling, and still not feeling right. CAT Scans, MRI, blood draws done, small brain bleed found, and it was determined she has a "brain abscess" this is a rare condition , and first course of action was to treat with antibiotics. Doing my own research, I found there are only 1500-2000 cases annually in the U.S. The abscess causes pressure on the brain, and the pressure needed to be relieved, in addition to the fact that the abscess needed to be drained.
