Read "My Story" on how this journey began.

This is my 2nd journey with breast cancer. This recent journey started when my mammogram that I had done November 22, 2017 came back with changes. When I read the results on MyChart online, I started feeling that area and found a lump. I called my healthcare provider and she examined me and added to the orders for the more views and sonogram her findings. After having them done I got an appointment for a biopsy, but had to wait 2 weeks. It was scheduled December 14th. I found out the results at 5pm on December 18th. Invasive ductal carcinoma, Grade 2. ER PR positive. The breast care coordinator talked to me the next morning and told me my appointment times with Dr Pickhardt the Surgeon, Dr Snyder the oncologist and Dr Menendez the radiation Dr. I will see Dr Pickhardt on December 27, Snyder December 28 and Menendez January 5th. Until then I will live like the healthy women I feel like. I feel in the best shape of my life and I know that the Lord has me in the palm of his hand. ✋
