Thanks for stopping by to get caught up on mom’s journey. My mom is one of the most beautiful souls on the planet! As a Registered Nurse for 50 years, by the time she retired, she has cared for so many..and honestly, she still does today. She has been married to my dad, Don, for 54 years and they met when they were 13 years old. She has always had a strong faith in God and not shied away from adversity. As many of you know, mom was diagnosed officially with Alzheimer’s in spring of 2013. She has been blessed to have some of the top Neurologists in the country looking after her. Her MN primary care doctor is from Carmel, IN and was good friends with our next door neighbor growing up. Even on this complicated path, blessings have been flowing. We have decided, to take it head on as a family, with love and transparency, in hopes it can be a help to others. For we truly believe every step of this journey is a testimony to God’s greatness!
