Lily came into the world at 1:30 am on April 7, 2019. She was overdue and mom was ready to get her out. When she came out she was a little blue but it was said it was normal, I asked again and they took her to get vitals and that is when we learned something was wrong.  Lily was born with Congenital Heart Disease and has Transposition of the Great Arteries. She was transferred to Rochester at 4 hours old. Shortly after she arrived she had a cath procedure to make a hole in the top chambers of her heart to allow her blood to mix this is called an ASD. We were in the NICU for 8 days before we got to bring her home. Currently we are waiting for Lily to tell us when her big open heart surgery will be.
