Earlier this year, Liam was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a condition that causes severe and debilitating facial pain. Liam is having microvascular decompression surgery on 12/12 with Dr. Mark Linskey at UCI Irvine in California.  Dr. Linskey is an expert in the field of trigeminal neuralgia and has performed this surgery on more kids than anyone else so we feel confident that Liam is in the right hands.  Dr. Linskey gave Liam a 2/3 chance of being pain and medication free after the surgery so we are very hopeful about what this surgery will bring.

We will be in California for about 3 weeks and will be using this site to post updates about Liam.
