After noticing enlarged lymph nodes in my neck, I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma August 2017. There are roughly 70 different types of lymphoma and gratefully, follicular lymphoma is slow growing, responds well to treatment, and has several treatment options. Right before my diagnosis, I also decided to retire. My last day of work was 8/25. It has been a blessing to be retired while facing a fight with cancer.
God has guided me through numerous trials over the past few years. I am confident he will guide me through this new challenge.
