On April 12,2016 Leonard was taken to Northfield ER for possible pneumonia, while there they performed other tests and discovered that his heart was not functioning well. So the next day he was transferred by some awesome paramedics to Abbott NW hospital in Minneapolis. There they were treating him for the pneumonia and doing more tests for his heart and on Friday he had his angiogram and it showed 3 severe blockages and they had to place one stent in one of the areas. Then was transferred to ICU room 4114. Dr who performed the angiogram told my mom and I that he has a long road ahead of him he is not a good candidate at this time for bypass surgery, but with meds, monitoring, & just going day by day he may be in the future. The doctor did use the term cardiogenic shock. So we will continue to pray and go day by day with his progression. I will update this as needed, as I know my father is a very well loved man!!
