On June 22, 2016 Lee had a brain stem stroke. Initially doctors thought it was a TIA, ministroke, or reaction to medicine because the symptoms of a brain stem stroke can be so different from a regular stroke. Eventually they concluded that his brain stem had been affected, and he moved from the hospital to a rehab unit and began the hard work of recovery. He is putting everything into it and making progress each week. -Marcy Sterner Gineris
