Laura is fortunate to have the most wonderful friends in the world and we want all of them to be updated, from time to time,on her situation.
A few weeks ago she was admitted to St. Lukes with pulmonary issues. While there, colon complications were identified which, eventually, will require surgical attention.
She was released to regain her strength but readmitted Saturday with respiratory distress and low blood pressure. To address these, she has had two surgical procedures, is intubated and in the cardio ICU at St. Lukes. Her vital signs are stable but the next few days will be important in assessing her long term prospects.
We know you will keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We will post updates when there is relevant news to report. In the absence of updates, please assume there is no change in her condition.
