Kryste Brown Strong is the new Skinny

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Hi everyone  Brittni here, many of you know my mom as Glammy, Tutu, Kiki, Puss or some crazy name I have never heard of before.   My mom is the funniest person I know, has a heart of gold, and will help out anything or anyone in need unless its something really smelly she has a really bad gag reflex! LOL!!  We recently got some really BIG news on October 30, 2017, my mom has breast cancer!  OMG we didn't even know what to think or how to  feel.  We experienced a very long 8 days of sadness, anger, anxiety, worrying, praying and praying some more.  On November 7, 2017 my mom was officially diagnosed with breast cancer.  WTH is going on, this does not happen to someone who is planning there BIG 50 birthday bash, who loves her job at Pure Spa, who spoils her 3 beautiful Glam babies, who is just about finished with her yoga certification, and who is ready to take on the vegan world!  As I write this I am still in shock!  I still don't think my mom has processed this news completely.  She seems to feel numb, empty, and definitely not her usual life of the party-light up the room self.  I want her to get back to laughter, love,  calmness and hope!  My mom is strong, she can fight, she is a warrior!  I KNOW she can fight this because "strong is the new skinny"!   Please embark on this journey we are all about to take and send encouraging words, funny stories, and lots of prayers her way!
