Thank you for taking a moment to come and visit this site, it’s indicative that Kristin has touched many of your lives, and we want to keep you informed.

As you may, or may not have heard, Kristin was involved in an accident on Monday, December 4.  She was out jogging with her golden retriever, and while crossing an intersection, was struck by a Ford F-350.  She was rushed to a nearby trauma center and given the care needed to stabilize her condition. Her injuries are serious, the most being a Diffuse Axonal Injury (DIA) of the brain that has rendered her unconscious.

From a medical standpoint, Kristin is stable in the ICU (surrounded by family and friends) as we wait to see how she will respond to treatment and attempts to wake her. Her vital signs are very stable and strong, no doubt a result of her excellent health.

In the days since her accident, we’ve seen good signs...fluttering her eyes, flinches/withdrawals to pain, but perhaps the most encouraging, a noticeable responsiveness to her son, Zach. Despite the long road ahead, we remain encouraged and hopeful as there are many stories of people like her, who have made a remarkable recovery.

We know there has been an outpouring of support for our family during this difficult time, for this we are so grateful. Please know we hear and appreciate all of them even if we are unable to respond.

We ask all of you to pray for Kristin. We truly believe that miracles happen with prayer and faith, so we ask that you keep Kristin in your thoughts and prayers.

Your well wishes and outreach are appreciated. We will update this site as Kristin’s condition progresses.

Love to you all,

The Zaccheo’s
