Welcome to Kristie's Caring Bridge site. Here is a little bit more info for those who are just now joining the party.
Kristie will be having spine surgery in two stages. The first will be on September 14. She will be having her spine prepped for reconstruction during this procedure. Stage 2 (the big one) will be on September 20. The doctor will be placing rods to straighten her spine to correct her advancing scoliosis, and fusing vertebrae together where needed due to disc degeneration that has been occurring for a long time. Your prayers and well wishes are very appreciated by the Condry family during this time. We will try to keep you updated on Caring Bridge as often as possible.
