Just a quick update. While in Colorado Springs to celebrate Stan's mother Zola's 90th birthday, on Tuesday July 11th, I had vice-grip headaches that upon evaluation turned out to be a tumor. I had emergency surgery at Colorado University Memorial Hospital, to have the glioma tumor removed. I have been fortunate to receive excellent medical care. I am now at Stan's childhood home of his niece and her family with Stan and my sister Heidi. My dear friend Poovey has come to provide support as well. The physicians involved locally will have a meeting on Thursday, July 20th to discuss results of pathology reports, and to recommend a course of treatment. I am feeling a bit stronger each day. Healing from the surgery and rest and building endurance are the goals for these days in between. Stanley is amazing! Thank you all for your love, prayers, and well wishes. Aloha, Kitty
