Kitty, whose home is in Columbia, Missouri, developed ;a recurring mouth cancer and is now facing chemotherapy, and radiation of her jaw, face and neck. This recurrence came while she was in Brooklyn ; visiting her daughter Donya and babysitting her grandson for a week. She has been in and out of & hospitals for the last several weeks, and is now in the care of the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, all the while staying with her daughter and family. Bill Fisch, Kitty's sweetheart of 10 years is an important member of the care and support team. We appreciate the many gracious and thoughtful things friends have done for us, the abundance of of cards, notes, prayers, food, and other caring gestures. We doubly appreciate your continued kindness in view of my lack of thank-you notes. I was unprepared to become sick so quickly, lacking in energy for important gestures such as these. Please know how greatly your thoughtfulness was appreciated.
