This is Kim Nelson, 48; wife, mother, sister, auntie, and friend to many. As many of you are aware, Kim has had numerous health issues over the years. Some of them scary, some of them very serious. But nothing like this:
On October 10, 2016 Kim was diagnosed with stage 4 Peritoneal cancer. A large tumor in her pelvis, several in her liver and lungs, and extensive involvement of the pelvic and chest lymph nodes. Her treatment regimen will be rigorous; designed to shrink the tumors and slow it's progression.
This is where we will chronicle Kim's journey through cancer and where she can receive your messages of love and support or, perhaps a memory of one of your favorite times spent with Kim and her family. She hopes you too will be inspired by these expressions as well as Kim's courage and faith. We invite you to tell your friends and family and to check back often.
