Kim came into the emergency room early Monday morning throwing up and experiencing shortness of breath.  After several EKG's she was moved to the ICU at Kearney Regional Hospital.  The prognosis was not good as her heart was only working at 20% of it's capacity.  The cardiologist went in and installed a balloon pump in her heart to support it's function as well as placed her on a ventilator to support her lungs as they had fluid in them.  Today is Wednesday March 1st and all of our prayers are helping progress her condition.  The doctor said she is in stable condition, but not out of the woods yet.  Throughout today they will wean back the pump in her heart to see how she responds.  She must be able to maintain her blood pressure without the pump.  If this is successful then they will remove it.  There are a lot of phases to this recovery and we continue to need your prayers.  We will update daily as I know you are all wondering where she is in her journey.  Thank you for your love, prayers and support. -Kiley
