Many of you know that Kent was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor on 8/26/16.   Unfortunately, the CT scan and MRI showed that  it is inoperable and incurable.   The first step was to get a biopsy.  This was done in Idaho Falls, ID by Dr. Greenwald.    After meeting with doctors and discussing options, Dad and Mom decided to  seek treatment at University of California San Francisco, UCSF.

Dad and Mom flew to  Jeff &Robyn's on  9/4/16.   The next day they received a consultation at UCSF with Dr. Bush.   UCSF is wholistic, hopeful and offers options and lots of support.

However, despite the great welcome,  Dad ended up in the hospital with pneumonia the very next day!   He stayed four nights before being released.   Dr. Bush Home Health  Assistance - PT, OT and Speech Therapy.

The plan as of now is that Dad will begin Radiation and Chemo (in pill form) tomorrow, 9/15/16.

The last two and a half weeks have been a whirlwind and so much has happened.    We are going to do our best to keep you posted.    Our family hopes  to send an update every few days.

Your prayers, love and concern is so appreciated.   Leslee and Deon
