Hi everyone- hope you all are staying sane, safe, and healthy during these apocalyptic times. This is the first post on a Caring Bridge page so bear with us.
We never thought we would have to do one of these. If you know Kent, you know this is something he would normally hate. Attention on him! He's still probably going to make some self-deprecating comments but he wouldn't be himself without those. He suggested we make a Caring Bridge so everyone he loves and cares about can keep up with his progress. He's loving all the calls and texts but this is all so new for him and for us. He's a bit overwhelmed.
Kent has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer which has metastasized to his liver and lungs. If you can imagine, it's been a real pain in his ass. We will make sure to keep this as up to date as possible. We will post a new journal/post soon with all the updates so far. In the meantime, if you feel any inclination to share funny stories, memories, moments, etc. please do! We are big believers that laughter is power and we need that right now :)
