We started this to keep everyone up to date on Dad's progress. On October 20 we visited Dad's kidney doctor and she told us Dad's kidney functions were down to 17%. On November 10 he was having horrible knee pain so we took him in to Rock Valley for a cortisone shot. They took his labs for his kidney appointment that was suppose to be Monday, November 14. We hardly got home and the nurse from his kidney doctor was calling from Sioux Falls that his kidney functions had dropped to 9%.  The decision had to made to start dialysis or not.
